About the role

As Clinical System Engineer you will be joining operations team of an innovative software development company at a pivotal point of their expansion with true career development opportunities. The goal of our operations team is to support our clients run their clinical trials. Your role will be responsible for the successful setup of clinical trials. As lead of the system implementation you will be in close contact with customers understanding their trial specific requirements. You will work closely with the Project Managers, e-Clinical Specialist and Software Developers to provide the best support to our customers.

Your responsibilities

As a Clinical System Engineer, your tasks would include:

  • Implementing new studies
  • Analyzing customer needs and study requirements
  • Configuring IT systems for clinical studies according to specification
  • Programming and scripting of workflows, reports and system integrations
  • Strategizing and executing the testing in cooperation with our Test Engineers in order to ensure the quality of the implementation
  • Training customers and clincase staff on new system implementations
  • Maintaining already implemented systems

Your profile

  • You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in life sciences industries or other relevant discipline (i.e. IT, medical or paramedical sciences, medical information specialist or other equivalent scientific training)
  • 2+ years of practical experience in IT related field
  • You are familiar with at least one programming language, SQL or statistical programming environments
  • You are curious about how patient and drug data is managed in the world of clinical trials
  • You enjoy working with customers as much as working with software developers
  • You have a working proficiency in English –

Highly desired but not required

  • Experience in medical research, eClinical, and/or CRO networks
  • German language proficiency

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Buy, install, pack mobile devices and fulfill orders in an efficient and accurate manner
  • Send regular shipments from the Distribution Center in a timely fashion
  • Conduct routine audits of inventory levels to maintain highest levels of accuracy
  • Maintain an excellent working relationship with our Expert team and work to support them to make sure deliver excellent experiences for our customers
  • Solve delivery problems with good manners
  • Serve customer needs as a 1st line hardware technical support

About The Role

The Executive Assistant will provide executive-level support to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).  The primary responsibilities of this role are to maintain the COO’s schedule, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, provide logistical and travel support and work on operations related projects.  The person will report directly to the COO and will be based in Berlin, Germany.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain an accurate and detailed calendar for COO, manage and log incoming scheduling requests, re-schedule meetings upon request, proactively communicate changes, and anticipate and respond to scheduling conflicts
  • Track COO’s tasks and projects to ensure appropriate prioritization of projects with respect to deadlines and organizational developments
  • Organize internal and external meeting for COO, including logistical and substantive preparation
  • Manage all travel scheduling and arrangements
  • Track and reconcile monthly credit card statements and complete and submit expense reports in a timely manner
  • Ensure consistent and efficient interaction with other executive assistants across the organization; demonstrate poise and tact under pressure and handle matters with sound judgment and confidentiality
  • Provide special project leadership and support as needed.
  • Conduct preliminary research on a variety of topics; draft materials as needed
  • Perform any other relevant duties as assigned

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus two or more years of professional work history; six or more total years of post-secondary professional work history in lieu of Bachelor’s degree considered.
  • One or more years of experience in providing high-level administrative support to executives.
